Eternal Family

Today In class we discussed the importance of families and how different the rest of the world views them. I know that I am a child of my Heavenly Father. I came to this earth for many reasons, but one of the main reasons I am here is to have a family. Our Heavenly Father made this earth for us and we are meant to use the resources that he provided here on this earth. We need to respect our environment and take care of it, but truthfully it is for all of us to use. I have faith that our Father in Heaven will always watch over us and make sure we are taken care of, if we do what is right.

I come from a family with six children and I am the youngest. I can't imagine life without one of my siblings. I love them all so much and I have learned so much from each and every one of them. Against what the world thought was right, my parents chose to have a big family. I think that took a lot of faith in Heavenly Fathers plan and I look up to my parents in every way. I also want to have a large family if I am able to. I look forward to having a family of my own one day. I know it won't be easy and that there will be many challenges, but I know it will be worth it.

I love starting out my day with my family relations class here at BYU-Idaho. I look forward to learning more in this class and I'm sure that my testimony of families will grow throughout this semester.
